Caregiver — Weekends

Comfort Keepers is hiring experienced, compassionate caregivers to support seniors across San Diego County on weekends. If your week is full but your weekends are free, we'd love to put them to meaningful use.

To be considered, you'll need a valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check. Prior caregiving experience is preferred. A CNA or HHA certification will qualify you for our higher pay tiers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide compassionate, dependable in-home care for seniors on weekend shifts

• Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility

• Offer medication reminders and support daily routines

• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping

• Provide companionship and meaningful social engagement

• Observe and report any changes in client condition to the care team

• Maintain clear, professional communication with supervisors and families

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation

• Consistent weekend availability (Saturday and/or Sunday)

• Ability to pass a background check

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Integrity, reliability, and genuine compassion for seniors

Preferred:

• 1+ years of professional caregiving experience (home care, facility, or similar)

• CNA, HHA, or home health aide certification (qualifies for higher pay)

• CPR/First Aid certification

• Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, or Parkinson's care

Service Area: Serving seniors throughout San Diego County, including Carlsbad, Chula Vista, Clairemont, Del Mar, Encinitas, Escondido, Hillcrest, La Jolla, La Mesa, Mira Mesa, Oceanside, Poway, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, Vista, and surrounding communities. Travel to client locations required.
